Ruth Hutton Burns, age 84, died on Sunday, August 6, 2017, in Pulaski, TN.

She was born in Giles County, TN on May 14, 1933, retired secretary from First Baptist Church, a member of First Baptist Church, a Pink Lady, active with the Joyful workers Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, and preceded in death by her parents, Robert Mitchum and Nancy Elizabeth Long Hutton, her husband, Warren Burns, her sisters, Ruby Taylor, Elizabeth Millican, Louise Holbert, and Josephine Hutton, her brother, Robert Hutton, her daughter in law, Mary Ann Burns, and her...

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Pulaski. Burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her sons, Bruce Burns and wife Teresa of Pulaski, TN, and Bob Burns of Woodstock, GA, her daughters, Betty Ervin of Lynnville, TN, and Beverly Toone and husband Terry of Pulaski, TN, her sister, Christine Minatra of Pulaski, her special friend, Linda Dale, numerous nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
